Is Pregnancy Possible Inspite Of Taking Birth Control Pills At Irregular Timings?
Hi, I have been taking Lutera birth control pills for over 10 months now. Ive never missed a pill but in the past 2 months I have taken some between 30 to an hour late a couple of times due to inconviniences. I know some say its not a big deal, but I am having unprotected sex and for about a month now I keep feeling really nauseous and although I think I havent missed a period, the last one wad much lighter than the usual and Ive had very light spotting even before it was supposed to start. Although rare, is there a chance I could be pregnant? I want a proffesional opinion before I go on to buy a pregnancy test. Thank you
There is always a possibility of your being pregnant if you miss some doses of birth control pills (chances depending on the no. of pills you missed). It is advisable to go for a pregnancy test to confirm/rule out pregnancy.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
