Is Pregnancy Possible Post Unprotected Sex Despite Missing A Birth Control Pill?
I have a question regarding a possible pregnancy. I am currently on the birth control Blisovi Fe, a combined birth control pill. Last week my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and the very next morning I woke up late and forgot to take my pill on time, I still took it just missed it by about an hour. The next morning I did the same thing on accident. What are my chances of getting pregnant? I know around the time we had sex is when I ovulate
If you've taken a complete cycle then the chances for pregnancy are almost nil. Although taking the drugs at the predefined time is recommended the chances for the hormone levels to drop with a 1-hour delay are not many. Despite that every time there are doubts about pregnancy, a pregnancy test has to be done. Ovulation is - normally - prevented by the pill.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
