Is Pregnancy Possible Through Intercourse While On Implanon?

I had the implanon for 2.5 years after my daughter was born. I had a regular period and everything. I had it removed when my husband and I decided to try for baby#2 it took us a month after the removal of the implanon to fall pregnant and I had implantation bleeding. After my son was born I got the depo shot to hold me over until I could get the implanon replaced which was down on st Patrick s day 2016. I ve had no periods at all but as of today I am experiencing the same discharge I had when I had implantation bleeding. The implanon seems to be inserted properly and I only weigh 117lbs and I m 5 3. Is this a normal side effect? I ve also had slight headaches everyday for the past 3-4 days...

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
Chances of conceiving is remote while you are on contraceptives such as birth implants.
You might have mistaken discharge/spotting as implantation bleeding following re-installation of birth control implant.
Occasional spotting and discharges are commonly experienced by most women in the first few months while they are on implants. Hence, you need not be much worried about such symptoms.
In case you are doubtful that you could be pregnant, you can take a urine pregnancy test to know the status of the same.
