Is Pregnancy Possible Through Pre-ejaculatory Fluid?
My boyfriend and I had sex on the 27th (July) and we were afraid that there might have been some pre-cum that slipped in me. But he didn t completely withdraw in me. So I took Plan B the same day just in case. I keep track of my cycle so I was 1 week after my fertile window already. I also take levothyroxine daily for my thyroid and i was wondering if it can alter plan B s effects. I ve been experiencing extreme bloating for the past 2 days, I ve been an emotional rollercoaster, is this normal with plan B? And what are my chances of being pregnant even after taking the pill the day of?
Chances of you getting pregnant are very slim. Plan B offers a protection of around 95% if taken early. I do not think Levothyroxine will affect the effect of Plan B, especially because you take it in normal therapeutic doses that make up for your thyroid level needs. Emotional changes may be also due to stress or fear of getting pregnant.
In any case, if you have a late period, it is best to have a urinary pregnancy test.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
