General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Pre-ejaculate is known to carry few sperms & they can impregnate if their entry coincides ovulation But it seems to be less possible as she had normal periods after the sex. About contraceptive pills, they are started after pregnancy is excluded. If it is so & she takes the pills as advised you would be well protected. By the way, nausea can be side effect of contraceptive pills & would be controlled over the time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
