Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I started taking birth control pills and I stopped it after taking for 8 days, because of severe headache. The last night I take the pills is Friday September 9 and I have sex twice, I didn t take the pills in September 10 night but I used condoms, same in 11 but I started bleeding today is it possible to be pregnant between the hours in Friday and Saturday night ( which is my ovulation times).
Well, no method is 100% accurate, but generally, the possibility of pregnancy is very low, almost negligible if this was taken as instructed.
There are instances where pregnancy have occurred with contraceptives. If intercourse was not during ovulation, then there are no chances of pregnancy.
Anyways go for urine pregnancy test kit in your home with morning urine sample for confirmation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
