Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi , Me and my girlfriend had protected sex on 19 April , but the condom did break i did not ejaculate. The expected period date was or is 10 or 11th may as she got her periods on 12th April last month. She did a pregnancy test yesterday but the result was negative , was the test done very early ? And is there any chance of being pregnant because of pre cums?
As the information provided by you, you have not ejaculated also you were using condom (although it ruptured), it is highly unlikely for her to become pregnant. Because most of the condoms available are toxic for sperms and kill them. Also she has got her menstrual episode after the event, so pregnancy is ruled out. And lastly your question about possibility of pregnancy after protected sex, yes it is possible but only in a negligible fraction of couples (0.5% to 1%). In the current scenerio, all you need to do is to sit back, relax, and enjoy the life.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Imran Ahmed Khan
