Is Pregnancy Possible Through Unprotected Sex During Ovulation?

Hi is there a chance I could be pregnant? My last period was 26th of September 2017 and my next period is due on the 19th of October 17. I was fertile between the 30th sep - 6th oct. And in that time I have had multiple sex sessions with my partner. I have all the signs of pregnancy. Cramping since ovulation, no spotting, very nauseated, Back ache, dizziness, servere exhaustion, headaches, indigestion, my breasts are quite tender, always tired and quite moody! Last night I took a home pregnancy test which came back negative I have 5 more days till my period starts and wondering if it was too early to take it. I came off my depo provera last year around start of august 2016 and I have had four two irregular periods and two regular so it took 11 months for my period to come and four periods I have had all up so I am guessing that I have my regular menstrual cycle back now and wondering if there is a chance I may be pregnant. Or could get pregnant any time soon. Please get back to me as I am trying to conceive. Thanks

Hi there, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

As you might be aware that missing period is the most important sign of pregnancy.

I will suggest you to wait for the expected date of menses, if you happen to cross your dates then please get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy. In case of any doubt blood beta HCG test and USG will be of help.

As you have mentioned that you are trying to conceive, please start on Folic acid and vitamin B 12 supplements regularly. This helps to prevent various complications during pregnancy and delivery.

I'm case your pregnancy test is negative, then your symptoms can be considered as PMS- pre menstrual syndrome.
In that case I will suggest you to opt for a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen. Include more portions of fruits, vegetables and salads in daily diet.Avoid refined sugars and deep fried foods and bakery products in the diet.
Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water in the day.
Please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for Long acting form of vitamin B 6, Folic acid, Vitamin E and Evening Primrose oil supplements.
This will help you to get over these symptoms.

I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
