Is Pregnancy Possible When Having A Follicle Size Of 24x18 Mm?
Hi,mam my age is 30 .I am taking treatment for conceive.my gyc given injection for rupturing follicle.but it will not rupturing. This is my 22day of period.follicle size24*18 mm.when it will rupture?is it useful or will keep for next cycle? Answer me please
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Follicle size of 24 X 18 mm what you have mentioned is little larger in size. Ideally, the follicle should mature and rupture by 48 hours after the injection. In case this fails, it generally grows larger in size as days progress mainly due to collection of fluid inside. It should mature and rupture ideally between day 13 to day 17 of the periods. Beyond day 20, rupture may not be useful as it may fail to implant even if it gets fertilized. It would be ideal for you to try again during next cycle. Kindly follow the instructions as would be given by your treating doctor. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
