Is Pregnancy Possible While On Depo Provera?

Hi am a 21 year old female am married n i have 1 child. am on depo provera i got 2 shots after the second shot after i had unprotected sex after 18 days taking i notice light blood and i ve been bleeding for about 9 days now and am having pregnancy signs. could i be pregnant am very confused.

Hi I think there is very little chance of pregnancy if you are using depo. Get a urine pregnancy test done to rule out pregnancy to clear your doubt. If negative, you can be sure of that. Bleeding is a common side effect of depo. It can be breakthrough bleeding which will resolve on its own. You can take some medicines like tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. Hope it helps.
