Is Pregnancy Possible While On Implanon?

hi, i have a bit of a worry. i have had the rod in my arm since february, i’ve never had irregular periods and it’s alwYs come each month. this month i haven’t got it since i slept with my boyfriend unprotected about 5 times. i’ve read a lot about falling pregnant on the implanon. i’ve been very moody and not feeling well. what’s your advice?

Hi;
Thank you for asking.
If you are sure that Implanon has not been displaced....there is mostly no possibility of conception.(Implanon very rarely can have it) The other symptoms of being moody,irritated &irregular periods seems to be side effect of the hormone in built in Implanon.
Please be relaxed. The period may be delayed .
In case you do not get it for 2 months at a stretch.... consult your gynecologist...she would exclude possibility of pregnancy &advise suitablly.
