Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My girl friend uses novelon tablets regular with out break and we had a sex with out condom and now she is feeling some what symptoms compare to pregnancy which are also side effects of novelon and she gets periods at 27 of every month. So plz help me out.
I understand your concern. Novelon is highly effective in preventing pregnancy. It has just 0.5% failure rate on regular use. Side effects if oral contraceptive pill like pregnancy symptoms. Wait for period to come.Your period will come in next 7 days. Period can be delayed by hormonal imbalance. Meanwhile avoid stress, take health diet, drink plenty of water, do regular exercise. If period will not come then consult gynecologist for examination.
Hope this may help you. Contact further if follow up needed.
Best regards, Dr. Sagar
