Is Pregnancy Possible While On An Implant?

I have got the implant in & it caused me 2 have really heavy periods for 3-3half week at time then couple days off then I come back on again for another 3-3half week so doc give me norethisterone. My period didn t stop until a couple days after i had finished the meds. I not had a period since & am nearly 3wk late, could I be pregnant?

Hi, I think there is very little chance of pregnancy while using implant. But no contraceptive is 100% effective, so better to do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first. If negative, you are not pregnant. It can be due to side effect of impln5 also. So, don't worry about it. You can get your periods in few days. Sometimes there can be absence of periods for few months while using implant. Talk to your doctor regarding this. Hope it helps.
