Hi,

You have mentioned that the ultrasound reports have suggested polycystic ovaries.Although there is no cure ,there are many ways to decrease / eliminate PCOS symptoms. Hormonal pills are the common medication given.Treatments include birth control pills to regularise periods. Metformin is also given to prevent diabetes/insulin resistance. Fertility treatments and myoinositol and certain other supplements will have to be taken in case you are planning for pregnancy. Without medical treatment it may be difficult to plan pregnancy.Hence i would suggest you to follow the above measures.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
