Hello and welcome to HCM, You have undergone myomectomy and suffering from polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Myomectomy involves removal of the muscle layer of the uterus. Muscle layer of the uterus called myometrium provides support and strength to the uterus. Pregnancy is possible , however, a cesarean section may be required at the time of delivery due to inadequate strength in the uterine wall. PCOS can be managed with medication. You need to consult your gynecologist for clinical examination, relevant investigations and prescription of drugs. Regular follicular scan should be done while on treatment to see the develoment of new follicles.Ovulation can be detected on follicular scan and thus pregnancy can be planned around ovulation.
