Hi, my name is deepmala and i m 28 year old. i m known case of pcod and suffering from irregular period. I have done with ovarian drilling in may 2011. and my first periods came on 15 july. Now my doctor put me on contraceptive pill (tarana) and asked me to take chance for getting pregnent. After using this pill if i will concieve with in three month than it is ok otherwise she will do IUI. I m worried that how can i concieve after having contraceptive. plz help, can i conceive with the help of tarana and metformin. plz plz i want child

Tarana is oral contraceptive pills and it is not possible to conceive while you are on these pills.Contraceptive pills are given in PCOS TO make the periods regular. Metformin is given in PCOS TO improve the hormonal profile, increase glucose metabolism and hence increase the chances of conception.
