Is Pregnancy Termination Safe During 5th Month?

Hi, iam nearly 5mnths pregnant n i have two kids alredy. I just dont want this third child as am not in a good relationship with my husband. Am always stressed tired n distressed with my relationship n my kids who are very naughty. What should i do as i cant afford an abortion

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Ideally, it would be better to go for abortion during first trimester of pregnancy within 12 weeks, as it could be done relatively safely under medical supervision by means of using abortion pills.
In second trimester, abortion in the 5th month is considered a "late term" abortion. It needs to be done by surgical means. Depending on the growth of the fetus, it can be done by means of hysterotomy (opening and evacuating from the uterus) or by dilatation and evacuation of cervix by vaginal route. Surgical intervention always carries certain amount of risk.
Kindly consult Gynecologist in this regard for evaluation and management.
