Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi there, I m trying for a baby and got my prolactin result back today (600) I was told this could be the cause of not getting pregnant , my question to you is are there any natural ways of lowering it, like excercise? I have a mini gym in my house, if I used that more would it help to reduce? Also cutting out certain foods? Please advise, thank you
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your lab report of high prolactin level I am suggesting that you have a condition called hyperprolactinemia
This condition cause unusual breast discharge and cause infertility through via a negative feedback on the ovaries which produces the hormones responsible for egg formation
The quest for whether exercise can reduce the level is absolutely impossible so please see an endocrinologist specialist for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription
I hope this helps Regards
