Is Prolonged Usage Of Brilinta Advisable?

I am a 64 year old female..had my first heart attack one year ago,had a stent put in. I have been on Brilinta for one year, no noticeable side effects. My family Dr. wants me to stay on this drug until I see him again in Jan, is it safe to stay on it this long ?
