General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. Propranalol can be taken in low dose for getting relief from anxiety and rapid heart beat. There is no interaction between the drugs you are presently taking. But as you having diabetes I don't recommend you to take it for long term instead a cardiologist strongly recommends it. I would suggest behavioral therapy with psychologist and breathing exercises for stress relaxation which will be helpful to avoid Propranolol. Hope this may be helpful. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
