Is Prostate Biopsy Advisable For Elevated PSA Levels?
Recent psa of 12.4. Started at 4.0 12 years ago. No symptoms. 69 years old. Feel better now than past 30 years. Lost weight, and eating healthy. I am very reluctant to have prostate biopsy because of negative things I have read about. What do you reccomend?
Hi there. Welcome to HCM. I can understand ur concerns. In my opinion you should go for biopsy. Do you know a single Tablet of disprin can kill a healthy person. Everything has some risks. We have to go for something whose benefits overweigh its side effects. Hope it helps.Give a feedback and also write a review on my profile. Thanks for choosing HEALTHCARE MAGIC. REGARDS! DR.
