At 1:07pm, my heart rate has come up to 131. Previous readings were 81, 108, and 81. My dr. Has prescibed 50 metoprolol tartrate or 60 diltiazem if my rate goes ump to 120. Would would your suggestion be?
Tachycardia occurs when your heart suddenly starts beating very fast. If it happens as a result of exercise, excitement, or fever, it's usually not a cause for concern and doesn't need treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
