General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Pus in the pancreas needs urgent medical aid & treatment. A pancreatic abscess left untreated may cause infection & sepsis. It is treatable, dead tissue needs to be removed.

Acute pancreatitis needs treatment by intravenous fluids, painkillers, antivirals/ antibiotics & rest.

Neglect may result in serious life-threatening conditions. Avoid smoking, alcohol & addictions if any. Maintain a healthy weight.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
