Good Afternoon - I was working on my laptop last night while I was laying in bed, and I heard something hit the screen within my bathroom. After that, I immediately heard something hit the curtains within my living room. I grabbed a flashlight, turned it on and saw a bat flying around my apartment. I immediately got up, turned on the lights and confined it to the living room. After some time, I was able to coax it out of my apartment. The bat was not acting erratic, it was simply doing what any bat trapped within an apartment would do. I was awake the entire time the bat was within my apartment and did not have any contact with the animal (no bites, no scratching, no touching). Given this encounter, do you feel it would be necessary for me to go receive the rabies shots or was my encounter minimal enough to forgo these shots. Thanks.
