Is Random Bruising, Which Feels Like A Knot, All Over The Body A Cause For Concern?

Over the course of the past three days I have had random bruises popping up. It starts out really tender to the touch and the a bruise starts to appear. The sizes range from the size of a quarter to the size of an apple. The first one on my lower thigh feels almost like a knot and I could feel it coming in my leg as a walked through out that day. Should I be concerned?

Hi,
You have not told your age, sex and occupation in your query.
Random bruises after the age of 60 years can be a part of normal aging process but before that if occurring are thing of concern.

You can go for some blood test including Bleeding time (BT), clotting time (CT) and Platelet count. If these are normal then there is nothing to be worried about.

Take plenty of vitamin C in your diet which improves the condition of early bruising.

Take care.
