Is Rash On White Part Of Eyeball On Tear Duct Side With Little Itching, Swelling And Redness Concerning?
hi, i'm a 30 somethingish male who has what appears to be a rash on the white of my left eyeball on the tear duct side. a few hours ago my eye started becoming extremely itchy and red. when i got home ten minutes later, i noticed the swollen rash like area. 3 or so hours later the itching, swelling and redness has eased but the rash on my eyeball is still there. my vision seems to be normal but i hope i have no reason to be too concerned...?

Hello.The most common cause of red eye with itchy is conjunctivitis (is not significant pathology) but it is necessary to go to an ophthalmologist for a more detailed examination and rule out other pathologies of the eye.
