My eleven year old son gets sour stomach often. Sometimes a couple times a week. Is that something to be concerned about. In October he was hospitalized with a intestinal infection that caused a blockage. When he was born he had malrotation and had surgery when he was 8 months old.

It seems that he is prone to stomach and gut infection , reasons can be many , but what ever the reason is few things are to be assured.
1) Taking simple clean diet preferrably home made. 2) Using clean water. 3) Education about hand and mouth hygiene and clean food. 4) Having a healthy life style. 5) Using balanced diet with vegetables and fruits as a good bulk of it.
I hope this answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask, otherwise close the discussion and rate it.
