Is Recurring Fever While On Treatment For Typhoid Normal?

I was suffring from fever from last 3 weeks And i chek myself to dr he dignosed typhoid after seening the blood report he advised to take medicine raxim o-200 levotas-500 nimotas100 pantosec-d sinopar tab i take these tablet 3 days but fever comes at night i want to ask that is it happens or other reasons that fever not going

Hi,

It might take a few days for fever to get reduced. Generally the treatment will be for 7 days for typhoid and recurring of fever even after taking medication is seen sometimes. This is called relapse. Sometimes, fever might also recur after 2-3 months also.

Continue taking the prescribed medication and complete the course to ensure complete eradication of the bacteria. Also, maintaining good hygiene is very important - avoid outside food, avoid oily and high fat diet, wash hands properly before eating, drink boiled water.
