Is Red Dots On Big Toe A Sign Of Vasculitis?
hello. i have about 12 tiny red dots on the tip of my left big toe and it's generally reddened all across the tip and down one side of the toe. I have a generalized reddened area on the top of my right big toe below my nail. Both toes hurt when touched...even when just the pressure of a sock or shoe.
I haven't injured my toes. I do have a history of arthritis.
I'm worried about vasculitis or perhaps something else?

Hi,
from history it seems that you might be having ingrown nail of toes causing minute injury in nail bed producing minor cut bring down nail bed infection.
Take one course of antibiotic for3-5 days.
Avoid wearing tight shoes.
If problem persisted, consult surgeon and get grown nails cut.
Ok and take care.
