Is Reddish Brown Discharge Symptom Of Pregnancy?
hi doctor,i m 25 years old ,i m diagnosed as pcos,i m trying for baby and my period due date was on september 23rd but i have had couple of pregnany test but both turned negative ,yesterday i had reddish brown discharge and it stopped. Am i pregnant or is this serious condition?

If you have regular cycles, please get a home pregnancy test 3-7 days after the missed period with a fresh early morning sample of urine. For an earlier and better clarification, you can get an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres. If positive, this discharge could mean an implantation bleed and further confirmation can be had through a trans-vaginal sonogram. If negative, this could mean a breakthrough bleed so typical of the hormonal imbalance of PCOS. This needs hormone replacement and follow up. Hope this helps.
