Is Redness Around The Vagina Post Unprotected Sex Suggestive Of STD?
hi my name is tina goyer and I had unprotected sex in march and i feel like my man may have been seeing someone else and I just want to make sure I dont have an STD/STI because I noticed red around the hole on the inside of my vagina and well it irritates me a little and hurts when you know? and well I also have these two brownish blue looking dots on the inside of my lips can you help me expplain what it is?
I would advise you to visit a gynecologist and get it checked. It can be either a fungal infection for the symptoms you have mentioned or bacterial infection.
If it is a fungal infection, the antibiotics prescribed may not work on you.
Please get a checkup done and then start the appropriate treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
