Is Removing The Cast On A Broken Wrist, That Hasn T Healed, Right?

yes i broke my wrist about five weeks ago. my dr took my cast off 2 weeks after i broke it put me in a brace and told me it was still broke. i am having pain in my forearm and i cant twist it,, is that right for him to take the cast off? and do i need to see another dr?

I hope I have answered you query. The duration of cast immobilization depends on type of fracture and usually it takes 4-6 weeks. In this particular case , it would be good to do another xrays to see if fracture has healed. if not, then it would be advisable to prolong immobilization especially if there is still pain and discomfort so you should ask this one or find another doctor for your further steps.
