Is Scanty Bleeding Post Taking Abortion Pills Normal?

Hi there. I m currently taking misoprostol 200 for home abortion. I was directed by my doctor to take 4 tablets daily for 5 days orally and vaginally. I have done this procedure over 10 years ago where I experienced a huge amount of bleeding. This time I only had a bit of heavy bleeding for 1 day and is very light bleeding now. Is this normal did the abortion happen on this first day...why am I not bleeding as much as I did the first time?

It is normal. I recommend a new HCG level measurement and possibly a transvaginal scan in a week's time.
