Help. I have alcoholism. I have 4 weeks without alcohol. I have a massive headache that I ve taken Tylenol, Naproxen and Tramadol to try to cease. Nothing is working. Is this alcohol withdrawal and how long can alcohol withdrawal symptoms last? I am also recently off Oxycodone/Acetaminophen for a broken ankle as well. Two weeks off that. I just took a klonopin for anxiety over this as well.
Alcohol withdrawal mainly causes tremors and sleep disturbance. And it last fro 3 days to 3 weeks depending on duration,frequency and quantity of alcohol intake.in your case headache not due to alcohol withdrawal. You should go for check up.Your blood pressure may be high causing headache.
