Is Severe Body Pain Caused Due To Stopping Of Vicodin?

Hi I have discontinued using vicodin ... this is the 22nd day. I took no more than 40mgs per day for many years due to a back issue. Just because you stop taking the pain medication does not mean the pain goes away. At this time I am more interested in finding out if the body aches (extreme) are caused by stopping the vicodin or have I caused nerve damage and now have fibromyalgia?
