Is Severe Burning Sensation In The Lower Abdomen After Appendectomy A Concern?

I had an appendectomy yesterday. I know there is going to be some pain associated with it for the next several days. But the whole reason I went in was a severe burning sensation in my lower abdomen. After the surgery it ceased now a little bit after 24 hours later it has come back. Should I worry? My post-op appointment isn t about for 2 weeks.
