My doctor said my thyroid might be acting up. I m getting chills when it s 70 degrees outside and I am having a hard time losing weight every week even though I changed my diet drastically. Do I need to take a medication for it? I m already on 10 other medications for different things.

Yes if your thyroid hormone level are subnormal then you must start taking thyroxin because low levels of thyroid will cause many other problems there is a long list of thyroid related ptoblems. To avoid that start medication.
