Is Severe Indigestion Due To Increased Carbon Dioxide Levels?

Its been almost a week that I haven t been able to digest most of my supper and for example 2 days i ate a chicken noodle soup and a piece of a brown bun and i was sick all night. Yesterday at a vegetable soup with have piece of bread and it just came back up. I don t know what to do anymore. We passed a breath test to check my co2 levels but didn t get any news from our doctors so no news is good news i guess?

Hello,

I think you may be suffering from indigestion and gastric reflux. I think you should eat earlier than 7 p.m, sleep with elevated head and avoid acidic foods. You may need to use gaviscon or Pepto bismol to help indigestion and hyperacidity.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
