Is Severe Pain In Calf With Big Bruise Post A Car Accident A Cause For Concern?
Hello I was in a car accident on Thursday morning slid around a turn and lost control so hit crub. Had a little back pain and chest felt tight that all went away now woke up this morning with horrible calf pain and a big bruise. Is this something to worry about
Its because of internal blood vessels injury & internal bleeding in the calf. Our body's natural tendency is to heal & the bruise will face away eventually. Only thing to worry about is it should not get infected. So you need to take antiinflammatory like combiflame thrice a day for 4-5 days & an antibiotic like Cap. Amoxycillin 500mg thrice a day for 4-5 days.Otherwise no need to worry as its already two days its on healing phase & no further active bleeding.
