Is Severe Pain In The Legs Through The Heels A Symptom Of Sciatica?

I have very severe pain down my leg into my heel (which hurts like someone jam a rode into it , pain some in left buttocks only on left side pain bends me over sometimes. On fixed income I will call have insurance will call Houston Clinic tomorrow thanks

Hello,

Yes, it looks like Sciatica. Do SLR (straight leg raising) test. Lie down facing up, stretch your leg.

Then fold at Knee joint flex at the hip. Then stretch extend knee upward, If you having severe pulling pain in thigh and legs, it is due Sciatica. SLR positive.
