Is Severe Pain While Swallowing Followed By Upper Chest Pain A Concern?

I have had severe pain for quite a while when swallowing. Very painful when food reaches below breastbone. Tonight I had episode, then violent vomiting. This was around 6:00 pm. Since then I have steady pain in upper chest with achy pain down my right arm. I also have migraine which I took medication for. Should I get to ER.

You need to go to ER, or you could consult a GASTROENTEROLOGIST or an ENT specialist ...for your chest pain, a general physician... Anyone of them would help. You might need a barrium swallow examination according to ur symptoms, but depends on for how long you have been having pain while swallowing... Is it while swallowing liquids or food and when the pain increases.
