Is Sexual Relationship Advisable With A Person Suffering With Acute Leukaemia?

Yes, My fiance has I believe it is Acude luekemia, he was diagnosed 9/2011, he had a blood transfusion February 2014. He is doing well felt like he was born again. We both have questions about sexual relationship and the safety or transmission from him to me. I am Sylvia, he is Ahmad. Thank you

Hi Sylvia, acute leukemia is a type of cancer wherein blood cells are produced in large numbers. But many of these type of cancers are treatable and most of them who suffer lead a normal life.
This condition has nothing to do with your sexual relationship. Both of you can lead a healthy life and it does not transmit from one individual to another.
I feel he needs more support from you, both physically and emotionally, which would help both of you lead a good life.
