Is Shifting To Combiderm Advisable For A Person With A History Of Eczema?
Hi, i am suffering from acne right now, i do not know if this acne because i have a history of eczema ever since. My dermatologist gave me medication of Epiduo but i cannot handle the burning sensation, i think it is getting worse. Second opinion was made and gave me combiderm. Should i shift to combiderm?
If the acne spots are located on your face, combiderm should be used for short period, and be careful not to expose to direct sunlight. This is because combiderm contains steroiddexamethasone.
Epiduo is the ideal treatment for your acne problems although it might be giving burning sensation (normal during the first 4 weeks of its use). I think it's better to continue with Epiduo. Try to use a small film on the affected area, gradually and gentle applying. Can use moisturizers after using it to calm down the skin irritation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wish you the best recovery.
