Is Sinus Bradycardia, With Well-managed Hypertension, A Cause For Concern?
I have been using one drop in each eye for glaucoma. I had an electrocardium to day and have sinus bradycardia. My am heart rate is 50.My blood pressure is 148 over 81. I am a 75 year old woman. I take lisinopril 5mg, hydrochlorothaizide 12.5mg and levothyroxine 2.5mcg. Should I be concerned?
Sinus bradycardia without any symptoms or underlying conditions may not require treatment. For those who need it, the treatment of sinus bradycardia depends on what’s causing it. Some treatment options include treating underlying conditions like thyroid disease, sleep apnea. Adjusting the dosage of any medications such as thyroxine if required should also be done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
