Is Sleeping With Arms Up Normal In Babies?

Hi My neice lost her 22mo old daughter to syds(for toddlers) She just had another baby--Thank you God--but i notice that this baby is alsosleeping with her arms up. my neice that died also sleptwith her arms up and i know they are still researching everything and that they dont swaddle babies as they usedtoo. I guess i just want to know if sleeping with arms up is ok for a newborn--she is one week tonite

correct position for infant for sleeping is supine position.. means baby lie on its back ..baby sleeping with arms up is not dangerous.. sudden infant death syndrome occurs some reasons are.. if baby lie on stomach, or vomiting aspirations by infant.. don't cover face of baby by cloth or bed sheets..
