Is Smoking Advisable While On Gabapentin?

my friend has been given gabapentin just two days ago, she is very manic also. she is going to buy marijuana now to go along with it. how can she tell if the gabapentin works if she smokes also? and is it dangerous to mix the two plus hormone therapy drugs?

It is not advisable to smoke marijuana while on Gabapentin. It may produce harmful interactions if used together.

Smoking marijuana while on Gabapentin may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, difficulty concentrating, impaired thinking, judgment, and motor coordination.
