I understand your concern.
Although you are discharged after being treated for
typhoid, there will be chances of its relapse if certain precautions are not taken.
You need to continue to be on bland diet for 3 weeks and gradually change to normal diet.
Likewise, you need to abstain from
smoking and alcohol consumption, if you are habituated to, for this period, to be on the safer side.
Hence, do not smoke for 3 to 4 weeks, as if typhoid relapses, it can land up in dreadful complications.
Kindly take the medications as advised and do necessary follow-up as suggested.
