Is Smoking Cannabis Safe While On A Pace Maker?

I m 66 man with a pacemaker w/fib. N last stage of emphysema hep.c w\inlager heart n I smoke half pack try 2quite have cut back but still do a little bit, smoke cannabis daily was a chronic durg user (meth) (slamin-(neddles) was my favorite did it 4over 30years but been clean now 10 years from meth. Still smoke cannabis n cigarettes what is my Faith I not good but tel me anyways!!thank u

Hello Dear. Smoking increases the possibility of atherosclerosis and heart blocks by increasing blood clotting in vessels of heart. The nicotine in smoke is a vasoconstrictor that is it contracts vessels in the heart which may cause anginal pain. Since you are already having pacemaker and added to it having emphysema you are at very high risk. It is better you can quit smoking for the good.
