Is Smoking Cigarette Advisable For A Patient With Acute Pericarditis?
I have been told by a doctor that i have acute Pericarditis i have been given ibuprofen and told the symptoms should go in about a week. I know smoking is bad for my health generally and that is not my question, my question is will smoking 1 to 2 cigarettes a day in the next week seriously aggravate the pericarditis or stop it from healing?
Cigarette smoking is strictly prohibited during the treatment of underlying condition like pericarditis. It could aggravate the condition and land you up in complications. Kindly quit smoking for your better health.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
