I had my 3 wisdom teeth pulled on thursday the 6th at 9am so its been a few days. Can i smoke a cigarette tomorrow morning? (I have hear multiple answers on when its safe, from 3 to 5 days, and my oral surgeons office doesnt open until 8am so I was wondering if I could get an answer now)

Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain smoking after tooth extraction is not at all a good idea as smoking can increase inflammation due to heat and chemical particles and along with it it can delay healing..

Healing after dental extraction can take for about 8 to 10 days for initial healing..
In your case as you are around 10 days of extraction you should completely avoid smoking for another one week at least..

In case if you feel the urge to smoke you can go for Nicotine replacement like Nicotine gums, patches etc..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
